How to Upgrade Your Android

One day you buy a phone happy that it’s the latest in the market only to find out that with the technologies speed your phone will be fast outdated. Well the easiest way to recover from this has been to dispose your current device and find a better one. That is a little expensive and a cheaper method can do no harm.

Here is the easiest to upgrade your android version. Consider a situation where you have android 5.1 – Lollipop and you want to upgrade to 6.0 – Marshmallow. 6.0 is the most popular version of Android although its getting wiped out by 8.0 – Oreo.

Step 1: Back up your phones Data
Step 2: Go to Settings on your phone
Step 3: Go to About, Click on update system (or software update in some other phones)
Step 4: Once your phones finds the available updates it will start the download, then it will automatically update.
Step 4: (alternative) If the above step doesn’t help, go online then manually download the android version you want as a zip file. Then on Settings – About – Update, click on the button on the right corner (the three dots button) click on update manually or update from local then there you go…

Note that you should first check to ensure that your hardware can run your desired android version otherwise you’ll just end up crushing your device. The same method may be used to revert to IOS, you'll just need to download the IOS first.

  1. Thank you for sharing this. Similarly, with mobile applications. You must promote iphone app always. Every month, especially if it is at the initial stage of its existence. Otherwise you risk remaining unknown.

  2. Once the hackers gain the access to your phone, they will be able to copy the data on your phone, delete it, and have the control over your microphone so that they can monitor each and every move of yours. So once they get in, they can do almost anything they want.gerald winata gozali
