How to Use Your Own Handwriting as System Font
Basically, to create your font you will need to write it down on a piece of paper, upload it to have it converted to a .ttf or a .otf file format then download it to whichever device you want to use it on and finally run it on your device. Here are the details.
First, need to visit the website, Calligraphr which has a free version or Fontself whose cheapest subscription is $57. But I recommend Calligraphr because who wants to spend that much and you are not doing this for professional purposes, though if you are, you can totally go for it, it has more advanced features and it will give you more control.
Download the template from the site either as pdf or png, print it out and fill it. Take a picture of the printout and upload it to your chosen site ( although FontSelf has an Adobe plugin for Ai and Ps). After its processed you will be prompted to save it and give it a name, after you are done you can now download it.
If you want to run it on PC, Windows has an inbuilt package installer that allows you to install and run your font. In the case of Android devices, you need an extra application from play store. Get iFont (Expert of Fonts) then through the app you can open your font. Fun fact: iFont actually comes with its own collection of fonts just in case you are not so happy with yours.
The downside: You will not access a Calligraphr without an account. iFont has ads, yea I know, it's irritating. For Samsung users, your device maker does not allow for most third-party fonts, those guys must really love the familiar tune of Choko Cooky. For Mac and IOS, I don't know much about your systems, they are cool yeah but isolated.
