Xiaomi™ has been one step ahead of everyone in the bezel race. Back in Oct 2016, Xiaomi released Mi MIX, the world's first full-screen display phone. It had an 84.16% screen-to-body ratio, to put it into context iPhone 11 Pro has a screen-to-body ratio of 82.1%. The new MI MIX Alpha will have a massive 180% screen-to-body ratio.

The crazy, yet incredible designers at Xiaomi™ have released the wildest phone I have ever seen. In their own words “Mi MIX Alpha is a futuristic phone that shows the many avenues for Xiaomi to explore during the 5G era”. The display extends from the front to back leaving only a small strip for the camera. It is simply “stunningly futuristic."

The back will feature mini-apps like a timer, weather, a to-do list probably and stuff like tracking your step count. The phone will also have humidity and air sensors so the back will feature readings from this. The top icons (battery, network, wi-fi, etc.) will be on the side just above the feature volume controls.
The phone will have three cameras a 20mp ultra-wide-angle camera, a 12MP telephoto camera, and a 108MP Ultra High-resolution Camera!! From the guys at Xiaomi™ “You'll easily be able to count her every eyelash even after you magnify her portrait 8 times.”

The processor will be a Snapdragon™ 855+ with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB ultra-fast UFS3.0 internal storage. The release date has not yet been announced but when released the phone will go for $2,815, that’s Ksh 281,500
