There comes some times when we may want to hide our images, videos, photos pics songs etc. because we either share our phones or because they contain nasty details of our personalities or for whatever other reasons we may have.
Well for that you don't need to be an expert or have third party applications for that. This how you do it;

• Go to your file manager, create a folder where you'd like to hide your files.
• Move all the files you want hide to this folder.
• Lastly rename the folder to have a prefix "." (dot) 

That's it your files are successfully hidden. In-case you want to view your files go to file manager, then to settings and click on show hidden files. Or alternatively go to settings, storage and USB, Explore then you can view and manage your hidden files, this is the concept employed by WhatsApp to hide Statuses from you.
