Muggers are becoming the biggest threat in many of our cities and towns, the black hat hackers too are becoming a major threat to our devices especially our endeared laptops. You should therefore try to make things as hard for them as you can, and below is a fairy effective way.

• Click on the start button
• Open Run (or you may just search it)
• Type "syskey" and hit enter
• You will be redirected to the SAM lock tool
• Click on update
• Click on password start-up and give your desired password

Now you are protected from a dictionary attack (an attack where a hacker tries millions if not billions of different password combinations in a very short time) since every time a you give the wrong password thrice the system restarts, practically a dictionary attack would take years.
Please note the password because if you forget it you can not also get it flashed away!
