Do you have this bad habit of asking people to send you their cool WhatsApp status video? Well it's time you dropped that.
Once a video has loaded completely on someone else's status it means that it has been downloaded and saved in your phone. However it is hidden from your gallery and file explorer.
So this is how you get it;

• open Settings
• go to storage and USB
• scroll down to explore
• scroll down to WhatsApp ( you may also search it)
• open .statuses (you will see all the current statuses in your WhatsApp)
• hold down the file you want be it a pic or a video
• after the file is highlighted you can now copy it to another folder in your phone or click on the share to drive to save it in your cloud. (Learn how to manage drive)

However the file is not always in your phone since WhatsApp is programmed to delete it exactly after 24 hours so hurry and get it now!
